Job Summary

We are currently hiring Senior Radiographer MRI for a reputed hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Permanent Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Performing high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards.
  • Supervising and supporting radiography staff students and support personnel within the MRI department.
  • Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of MRI equipment and reporting technical issues when required.
  • Reviewing patient referrals preparing patients for MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout examinations.
  • Monitoring compliance with MRI safety regulations infection prevention measures and radiation protection guidelines where applicable.
  • Assisting in the coordination of daily workflow appointment scheduling and efficient patient throughput.
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to staff within the MRI service.
  • Collaborating with radiologists consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective diagnostic services.
  • Participating in quality assurance programmes audits and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records imaging documentation and departmental reports.
  • Supporting staff training education and professional development activities.
  • Ensuring a high standard of patient care professionalism and communication at all times.


Requirements
  • Must hold a Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography or an equivalent qualification.
  • Qualifications must be recognised and validated by the Irish Institute of Radiography.
  • Must be registered with CORU.
  • Experience working as part of a radiography team is essential.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Minimum of one years MRI experience is required.
  • Ability to manage both clinical and non-clinical situations effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
