Senior Quantity Surveyor Hybrid

This Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major projects. The role offers high-level commercial autonomy senior leadership exposure and the responsibility to drive project profitability while mentoring a team of surveyors.

• Leadership Role: Take full commercial ownership of major developments.

• Team Management: Lead mentor and develop graduate and project-level surveyors.

• Strategic Input: Work closely with Project Directors and senior stakeholders to shape project outcomes.

• Over see the entire procurement process draft complex subcontract agreements and sign off on final accounts.

• Lead monthly commercial reporting (CVRs cash flow profit projections) and manage risk/opportunity registers.

• Protect the companys position by providing proactive expert advice on contract administration and dispute resolution.

• Manage high-value client relationships and lead negotiations for variations and the final account.

• Education: Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying or higher (SCSI/RICS chartership preferred).

• Experience: 7 years of experience with a main contractor managing large-scale projects.

• Skills: Expert contract knowledge proven leadership capability and a track record of commercial success.

• Software: Advanced proficiency in MS Office and standard industry software (CostX Bluebeam or Cubit).
