Senior Interior Designer
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Interior Designer to join a growing Dublin based design team delivering innovative and people focused commercial workplace residential and retail projects across Ireland and the UK.
The successful candidate will play a key role as part of a small team leading projects from concept through to completion working closely with clients consultants and multidisciplinary teams. Revit proficiency is essential for this role candidates without full proficiency will not be considered.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Senior Interior Designers while exceptional candidates operating at or ready to step into Associate level responsibilities will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of commercial workplace residential and retail interior projects across all project stages
- Develop creative and innovative design concepts aligned with client objectives and workplace strategies
- Prepare and oversee presentations space planning packages design documentation specifications and FF&E selections
- Manage client relationships acting as a trusted design advisor throughout project delivery
- Coordinate effectively with architects consultants contractors and suppliers
- Lead project teams providing mentoring and support to junior designers
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Contribute to business development activities client presentations networking and bid submissions
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Interior Design Interior Architecture or a related discipline
- At least 6 years experience delivering commercial workplace projects within an architectural practice design consultancy or interiors studio
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept development workplace strategy and project delivery expertise
- Excellent space planning technical detailing and FF&E specification skills
- Proficiency in Revit Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience leading design teams and managing multiple project workstreams
- Candidates considered at Associate level will demonstrate strong leadership team management and business development capabilities
- The right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland - the practice cannot sponsor
