Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Senior House officer in our Hospital in Cork Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Complete hospital admissions by documenting patient history and physical examinations using the designated Initial Medical Assessment Form.
  • Assess review and document patient findings promptly as requested by Consultants and Nursing Staff.
  • Monitor and review patients regularly in line with the agreed plan of care.
  • Escalate and communicate any patient concerns or clinical issues to the Consultant or relevant Registrar.
  • Prescribe medications as directed by the attending Consultant and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate actively in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Complete discharge procedures including preparing electronic discharge summaries and letters.
  • Support the education and training of colleagues medical students and healthcare staff.
  • Respond appropriately to adverse events including falls injuries sudden illnesses and emergencies involving patients visitors or staff.
  • Contribute to quality improvement risk management initiatives and the implementation of technological developments within patient care and service administration.


Requirements
  • Current registration with the Irish Medical Council is essential.
  • Previous experience working within the Irish healthcare system is desirable

Required Skills:
