Key job responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term infrastructure strategy for data center deployments across EMEA ensuring alignment with global standards and regional requirements
- Lead technical evaluations of new market opportunities including site feasibility power availability climate analysis and regulatory considerations
- Develop strategy for innovative cooling and power architectures that advance sustainability goals and optimize total cost of ownership
- Serve as the strategic engineering interface between regional delivery teams design engineering and cross-functional stakeholders (construction capacity planning supply chain)
- Provide senior technical counsel to leadership on capital investment decisions technology selection and infrastructure roadmap prioritisation
Identify and mitigate risks in early-stage programs by applying engineering judgment across mechanical electrical and controls disciplines
- Influence global design standards and specifications by feeding back EMEA-specific lessons learned and regional best practices

Youll engage with cross-functional teams to evaluate new regions for data center expansion analyze cooling solutions and develop innovative infrastructure strategies. Youll participate in technical reviews collaborate on design decisions and contribute to sustainable engineering practices.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers power generation or oil and gas facilities
- Experience researching new designs technologies and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in engineering designing or constructing data centers

- Professional Engineering or Architectural License
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration development and into deployment or mass production
- Experience reading interpreting and creating construction drawings specifications and submittal documents
