Are you passionate about transforming complex scientific data into publications that shape healthcare and improve patient outcomes worldwide As an Associate Director Global Publications & Foundational Content you will lead the development of high-impact scientific publications and foundational medical content that help communicate the value of innovative research. Working across global teams and therapeutic areas you will combine scientific expertise strategic thinking and exceptional writing skills to ensure critical evidence reaches healthcare professionals and scientific communities around the world. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of complex scientific publicationsmanuscriptsand foundational medical content across therapeutic areas.

  • Translate clinical and scientific data into clearcompellingand scientifically rigorous communications.

  • Drive the delivery of pivotal publications scientific communicationsplatformsand publication planning materials.

  • Manage multiple publication and content projects simultaneously while ensuring qualitycomplianceand timeliness.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align scientific content with strategic communicationobjectives.

  • Champion first-time-right delivery through excellence in scientific writingreviewand project execution.

  • Identifyand implement innovative process improvements that enhance team efficiency and content quality.

  • Build andmaintaintrusted partnerships with internal expertsauthorsand external stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with publication guidelines quality standards operatingproceduresand documentation requirements.

  • Mentorcolleaguesshare best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Essential for the role:

  • Advanced scientific degree in life sciences pharmacymedicineora relateddiscipline.

  • Extensive experience developing scientific publications manuscripts abstractspostersand medical communications.

  • Strong understanding of clinical research drugdevelopmentand scientific evidence generation.

  • Exceptional scientific writing skills with the ability to communicate complex data clearly and accurately.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects while delivering to quality standards and timelines.

  • Experience working effectively within global cross-functional and matrixed environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desirable for the role:

  • PhD Doctor of Medicine or equivalent advanced qualification in a scientific or medical discipline.

  • Experience supporting global publication strategy and scientific communications within the pharmaceutical industry ideally within immunology or a related therapy area.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 75880.00 to 140920.00 EUR

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives such as relevant skills competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
