Youll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world. We have offices in Dublin London New York Charlotte Berlin and Sydney.

The challenge

We move fast. Weve deployed over $6bn to small businesses since 2020 and the pace isnt slowing down. As our portfolio grows so does the complexity - more customers more data more decisions to get right. We need someone who can look at a business understand whats actually going on underneath the numbers and help us fund the right ones.

What youll actually do

• Youll dig into the financial and operational data of new and existing customers figuring out what makes their business tick where the risks are and whether Wayflyer is the right partner for them right now.

• Youll join calls with customers ask the questions that matter and feed your findings back to the team.

• Youll work closely with sales and operations to understand how deals are won and managed and youll have a hand in building the processes and products that shape how we underwrite.

• This isnt a back-office role. Youll be making real decisions at pace.

What this role could turn into

Analysts here dont stay analysts for long if they dont want to. The natural paths are into leadership roles portfolio management or broader data analytics depending on where your interests take you. Well actively help you figure that out.

Who thrives here

Youre comfortable sitting with ambiguity and still making a call. You can read a set of management accounts and know which number to pull on. You ask questions in client meetings that other people didnt think to ask. You care about getting it right not just getting it done and youre commercially sharp enough to know the difference between a risk worth taking and one that isnt.

We hire for range

3 years of relevant experience helps as does a strong academic record in Business Finance Economics Engineering Law or Computer Science. Youll need to be comfortable with financial reporting and confident presenting to senior stakeholders. Excel or SQL experience is a plus. A professional qualification (ACA ACCA CFA CIMA) or working towards one is nice to have but not a dealbreaker. What we care about most is how you think.

Location and Working Policy

Dublin or London hybrid (3-4 days per week in the office)
