Senior Asset Manager
Job Summary
An established and growing real estate investment platform is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join its residential asset management team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the strategic oversight of a high-quality real estate portfolio working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive performance optimise value and deliver investment objectives.
The Role:
- Take ownership of the financial and operational performance of the real estate portfolio with responsibility for income occupancy operating costs NOI and overall asset performance.
- Develop and implement annual asset business plans budgets and medium-term strategies in conjunction with clients and internal teams.
- Monitor leasing performance rental growth vacancy arrears tenant retention and operating expenditure identifying opportunities to improve portfolio and asset-level KPIs and provide recommendations on pricing leasing strategy cost efficiencies and capital expenditure.
- Work closely with the Property Management and Leasing teams to ensure asset strategies are implemented effectively at operational level.
- Lead monthly and quarterly client reporting including financial performance variance analysis leasing metrics operational commentary and forward-looking recommendations.
- Prepare and present asset reviews business plans and investment recommendations to institutional clients and senior stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in asset management investment management residential property real estate advisory or a related field.
- Experience managing or analysing institutional real estate assets and investment portfolios.
- Strong understanding of budgeting business planning cash flow analysis valuations NOI growth and investment performance metrics.
- Exposure to PRS multifamily residential investment or broader real estate sectors is highly desirable.
- Track record of working with cross-functional teams including leasing operations finance development and investor relations.
Required Skills:
Chartered Surveyor and a bachelors degree in Real Estate Finance 7-10 years of experience in asset management in the real estate industry Strong knowledge of asset management principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
