An opportunity has arisen for a Security Systems Service Engineer / Technician to support customers across Dublin and the surrounding region. This is a field-based role focused on the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electronic security systems including Access Control CCTV and Intruder Detection.
You will work across a variety of client sites delivering high-quality service technical support and system reliability while building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reactive and planned service support across multiple client sites
Carry out fault finding maintenance and repairs on security systems
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Support minor works system upgrades and enhancements
Conduct system testing and basic commissioning when required
Complete accurate service reports and documentation
Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
Escalate complex technical issues where required
Follow health & safety service standards and quality procedures
Requirements
Essential
13 years experience in the electronic security industry
Experience working with:
Access Control systems
CCTV / IP CCTV
Intruder Detection systems
Experience in service maintenance or installation roles
Ability to diagnose and resolve system faults
Basic understanding of IP networking
Strong customer-facing and communication skills
Organised reliable and able to work independently or within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Full clean driving licence
