Satellite Fertility Nurse
Job Summary
We are hiring a Satellite Fertility Nurse for a Hospital in Drogeda Ireland.
Provide high-quality clinical nursing care and support to patients attending the satellite clinic for fertility treatment and monitoring.
Perform fertility-related ultrasound scanning as required in accordance with clinical protocols and professional standards.
Undertake phlebotomy and ensure appropriate specimen collection handling labelling and processing.
Support and guide patients throughout their fertility treatment journey providing clear communication empathy reassurance and professional care.
Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate complete and timely clinical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic requirements.
Ensure full compliance with relevant national and European legislation professional standards clinical guidelines and protocols governing fertility treatment.
Registered Nurse/Midwife or eligible for registration in the General Division of the Register of Nurses/Midwives maintained by NMBI.
Graduate Certificate in Fertility Ultrasound.
Certified Phlebotomist.
Previous experience in Midwifery Gynaecology IVF or Infertility care.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant national and European regulations and their clinical and legal implications including SI 158 of 2006 and SI 598 of 2007.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
Previous experience working in a satellite or outreach fertility clinic setting
