Rigid Delivery Driver (Foodservice Distribution)

Location: North County Dublin
Salary: 51000 per annum plus performance-related bonus

A leading Irish foodservice distribution company is seeking an experienced Rigid Delivery Driver to join its transport team. This is a permanent full-time role offering excellent earning potential modern vehicles and the opportunity to work with a well-established organisation serving customers across multiple sectors.

The role involves delivering chilled frozen and ambient products to commercial customers including restaurants hotels schools healthcare facilities and other businesses.

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer locations on assigned routes
• Safely operate a Category C rigid vehicle
• Deliver chilled frozen and ambient food products accurately and on time
• Carry out daily vehicle refrigeration unit and safety checks
• Operate tail lifts and undertake manual handling duties as required
• Use handheld delivery technology to record deliveries and obtain customer signatures
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Handle returns collections and occasional cash transactions where required
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at every delivery point
• Liaise with transport warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations

• Full Category C Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience desirable but not necessary
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph legislation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work
• Good standard of spoken and written English
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
