Role Purpose

This role is a strategic position designed to enhance the effectiveness alignment and execution of the EMEA Merchant organisation.

The role combines revenue operations sales enablement commercial insight and strategic execution to drive growth optimise performance and ensure alignment with executive priorities. Acting as a trusted partner to the SVP the role translates strategy into action establishes operating discipline and enables data-driven decision-making across the region.

This position requires a highly credible individual with strong commercial acumen the ability to operate at pace in a matrix organisation and a track record of delivering impact across complex cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Act as a strategic partner to the SVP supporting planning prioritisation and decision-making across the Merchant organisation

  • Translate strategic objectives into clear actionable priorities and execution plans

  • Drive the delivery of high-impact initiatives including go-to-market strategies growth programmes and revenue growth initiatives

  • Support M&A activity by identifying revenue synergies quantifying impact and ensuring effective integration and execution

Revenue Operations & Performance Frameworks

  • Partner with Finance Strategy Product and Analytics teams to provide insight into revenue performance pipeline health and forecasting

  • Synthesise complex data into clear executive-level insights and recommendations

Operating Rhythm & Governance

  • Establish and continuously improve operating cadence (e.g. QBRs leadership forums planning cycles)

  • Ensure high-quality preparation structured decision-making and disciplined follow-through

  • Track progress against strategic priorities proactively identifying risks dependencies and trade-offs

Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment

  • Act as a central point of coordination across the Merchant organisation.

  • Enable collaboration between sales teams central and local Revenue Operations and Sales Enablement teams

  • Establish scalable operating models that balance global consistency with local market agility

Sales Enablement & Commercial Effectiveness

  • Empower Sales leaders to deliver targeted high-impact programmes aligned with regional and global priorities

  • Enhance sales effectiveness through structured tools frameworks and performance insights

Organisation Effectiveness & Talent

  • Support organisational design capability development and leadership effectiveness

  • Partner with SVP on talent planning succession engagement and transformation initiatives

  • Reinforce a high-performance culture aligned with organisational values and leadership expectations

Skills Experience & Capability

Essential

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting revenue-generating teams

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in complex matrixed environments

  • Experience in revenue operations sales strategy or commercial transformation

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive execution without direct authority

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex topics into clear executive insights

  • High levels of judgement discretion and professionalism
