RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care services.
We are currently hiring a Registered General Nurse Endoscopy Day Ward (Pre & Post-Operative Procedure Care) for a leading hospital in limerick Ireland.
Provide safe and effective pre- and post-procedure nursing care to patients within the Endoscopy Suite from admission through to discharge.
Promote a patient-centred approach to care working collaboratively with relevant healthcare services and agencies.
Prepare and support patients for procedures ensuring they are fully informed and addressing any questions or concerns.
Adhere to and demonstrate best practice in infection prevention and control at all times.
Communicate and liaise with CNMs and Consultants regarding any clinical concerns or complications.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and overall patient experience.
Take professional responsibility for clinical practice maintaining and enhancing knowledge competence and scope of practice in line with NMBI guidelines.
Maintain awareness of national and local quality standards and regulatory requirements including JCI and HIQA relevant to nursing service delivery.
Be registered or eligible for registration in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Have 12 years of clinical nursing experience preferably within an acute care setting.
Possess 12 years experience in a Recovery Unit or Suite (clearly outlined on the CV).
Demonstrate proven competency in IV cannulation and venepuncture.
Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is desirable.
