Refrigerated Body Repair Fitter

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Refrigerated Body Repair Fitter to join our workshop team. This position is ideally suited for candidates with experience in automotive body repair specifically panel beating fitting and spray painting. While in-country candidates are preferred to fill the position quickly strong international applicants are also welcome to apply. No mechanical experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Body Component Fitting (60%): Remove repair and fit structural body components on trailers including floor-to-ceiling rear pillars cross members doors door handles hinges and buffers.
• Spray Painting & Finishing (40%): Prep prime fill sand and spray paint body sections cabs chassis and wheels.
• Structural & Panel Repairs: Repair damaged refrigerated bodies work with adhesives/foam insulation and align insulated panels.
• Fabrication: Perform basic welding and metal fabrication as needed for structural repairs.
• Workshop Standards: Maintain clean safe workspaces and ensure all work meets high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Background as a Panel Beater Spray Painter or Automotive Body Repair Technician.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience fitting vehicle body parts and components.
• Basic welding and metal fabrication skills preferred.
• Strong team player with solid attention to detail.
• Basic computer or mobile device literacy is an advantage.
