Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation regulated by the Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA).


We provide a wide range of person-centred services including residential respite and day services to almost 400 adults with an intellectual disability in the South Dublin and Kildare area.


Location: South Dublin.


About the Role:

The Quality & Risk Administrator Grade IV will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Quality Safety & Risk Team and assist in maintaining effective systems for quality risk compliance and governance across the organisation. The role requires a high level of accuracy attention to detail confidentiality and organisation. The post holder will work closely with members of the Quality Safety and Risk team managers and services to ensure documentation and information is complete up to date appropriately filed and available when required. The Grade IV Administrator will provide administrative and systems support.


Essential Criteria:

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements applicable to appointment at Clerical Officer Grade IV within a Section 38/HSE-funded organisation.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:


Administrative Skills

  • Strong administrative and clerical skills.
  • Experience of accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Experience maintaining electronic and/or paper filing systems.
  • Ability to prepare reports correspondence meeting documentation and minutes.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to use shared databases and electronic record systems.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Communication & Professional Skills

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with managers colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary and administrative team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Professional respectful and ethical approach to work.
  • Ability to use discretion and judgement and escalate queries appropriately.

Desirable Criteria :

  • Previous administrative experience within healthcare disability social care or another regulated environment.
  • Previous experience within a Quality Safety and Risk Governance or Compliance function.
  • Experience using NIMS or another incident management system.
  • Experience supporting HIQA inspections regulatory submissions or audits.
  • Experience maintaining compliance trackers action plans or risk registers.
  • Experience preparing meeting minutes and monitoring actions.
  • Knowledge of disability services and person-centred practice.

Salary will be paid at the Clerical Officer Grade IV on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales depending on qualifications and experience.
