Quality and Patient Safety Manager (Grade VI)
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversee operational management of quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Analyse incidents and complaints to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Support audit programmes and risk management processes ensuring accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
- Contribute to policy development staff education and the promotion of a strong culture of quality and safety.
- Assist with incident investigations regulatory reporting requirements and effective complaints management.
- Act as deputy to the Head of QRC as required.
- Extensive experience in healthcare quality patient safety data analysis and risk management.
- Strong analytical reporting and IT proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in report writing.
- Sound working knowledge of Mental Health Commission standards and requirements relating to mental health services.
- Highly developed organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving abilities adopting a proactive and evidence-based solution-focused approach.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in delivering service improvements aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.
