Responsibilities may include:
- Performing face to face or telehealth assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with clients of all ages including children adolescents and adults.
- Complete assessments and visits within facilities such as long-term care and skilled nursing.
- Maintaining current patient records to clearly state problems plans actions goals and changes as they occur.
- Instructing and educating clients and their caregivers.
- Managing client medications.
- Providing psychotherapy services as needed.
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- PMHNP certification through the ANCC required.
- Willingness to travel up to 1 hour (one way) for facility visits.
- Experience in psychiatric mental health and behavioral health services preferred.
- Telepsychiatry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work with a variety of ages including children adolescents adults geriatric andindividuals with intellectual and developmentaldisabilities.
