We are hiring a Staff Nurse Minor Operations Procedure Room for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.

Part-Time 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract 21 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage dispensary activities and support the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.

  • Utilise hospital medication management IT systems in clinical and dispensary practice.

  • Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services including medication reviews and patient counselling.

  • Conduct data collection audits and medication safety initiatives.

  • Contribute to the development implementation and review of pharmacy policies.

  • Deliver education and training to multidisciplinary healthcare teams.




Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).

  • Demonstrate the knowledge skills and suitability required to effectively perform the duties of the role.

  • Excellent planning organisational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care.

  • Good IT proficiency and willingness to use clinical and pharmacy information systems.

  • Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

  • Experience with electronic prescribing automated dispensing or barcode medication systems.
