Job Summary

We are currently seeking to recruit a Relief Pharmacist for our stores across Monaghan and Louth.

This role is a permanent 27 hour position and covers a range of stores throughout the counties.

Through this opportunity you will gather great insight into the brands under Uniphar.

Within our Relief rosters we try to establish a regular order of stores you will support so that you can best get to know the teams and customers in each location.

All relief rosters are provided 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

The responsibilities of the role:

  • To assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives

  • Work with the team to find care solutions for our customers and patients

  • Assist in the professional clinical ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with company and industry regulations.

  • Assist in group healthcare and company/marketing events.

  • Communicate with the team on business performance and new initiatives.

  • To partake in staff training events and encourage and support the development of the team.

  • Report to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performance.

Qualifications Experience & Skills Required

  • 1-2 years as a Pharmacist is highly advantageous
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to work on multiple tasks accurately in a busy environment
  • The ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team is essential
