Payroll Specialist EMEA (f/m/d) - Dublin

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate payroll for multiple European countries and entities
  • Work closely with internal and external partners including our outsourced payroll vendor HR the Benefits and Stock teams authorities and auditors
  • Review internal processes and service delivery recommend improvements and help implement them
  • Partner with teams across the business to streamline and simplify ways of working
  • Contribute to payroll-related projects
  • Communicate clearly with the business and our employees taking ownership of ad hoc queries through to resolution
  • Uphold eBays DNA

What you bring

  • 3 years experience in complex payroll delivery ideally within a shared service team
  • Experience in a large organisation handling high volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory payroll requirements across several EMEA countries
  • Good understanding of payroll topics such as benefits equity and shadow/hypo tax
  • Comfortable working with AI tools (e.g. Copilot ChatGPT Claude) to speed up analysis documentation and recurring tasks and open to learning new ones as they emerge
  • A detail - and goal-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities accurately and efficiently
  • Reliability commitment flexibility and a talent for working in virtual teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus
