Job Summary

ID Recruitment are working with a large family-run car dealership to recruit a Parts Manager to lead their busy Parts Department and support the aftersales team.

This is a key role ensuring the workshop runs efficiently while maintaining excellent stock control supplier relationships and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
  • Ensure timely supply of parts to support workshop servicing and repairs
  • Maintain accurate stock control ordering and inventory management
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure parts availability
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturer parts departments
  • Process parts orders customer enquiries and warranty claims
  • Monitor parts margins and department performance

Skills Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role (motor trade preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and dealership operations
  • Excellent organisation and stock management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment



Required Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a management role Experience in multi-franchise dealerships is a strong advantage Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers team members and brand partners Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions In-depth understanding of the automotive industry including vehicle sales processes and trends Knowledge of financing and insurance products is advantageous. Full clean driving license.


Required Education:

Relevant qualifications in business sales or a related field are desirable but not essential
