Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance our global manufacturing network environment. This role will be responsible for designing implementing and supporting enterprise-scale network solutions across manufacturing sites ensuring secure reliable and high-performing connectivity that enables critical business operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network switching strong knowledge of network security excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across technical and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and support large-scale enterprise LAN WLAN and network infrastructure solutions.

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing network projects refresh initiatives and site expansions.

• Support day-to-day operational activities and troubleshoot complex network issues across manufacturing environments.

• Drive improvements in network performance reliability availability and security.

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to understand operational requirements and deliver effective network solutions.

• Partner with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards vulnerability management and network segmentation initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation network designs and implementation plans.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and project teams.

• Contribute to network automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Telecommunications or related field or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Cisco Switching and Routing

  • Cisco Wireless technologies

  • Enterprise Firewalls (Palo Alto or Check Point)

  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals

  • Network Security principles and best practices

• Experience supporting manufacturing or operational technology (OT) environments is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Positive attitude collaborative approach and willingness to support business-critical manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.

• Experience with Cisco ISE Cisco Catalyst Center F5 Splunk ServiceNow NetBrain LogicMonitor Ansible or Python.

• Experience with Network Segmentation Access Control and Network AIOps.

• Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare life sciences or manufacturing.
