• EU/UK citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
• Recognised trade qualification in Forklift Mechanics Construction Plant Fitting or Agricultural Mechanics (or equivalent)
• Proven experience maintaining servicing or repairing forklifts plant machinery or heavy-duty construction/agricultural equipment

Job Overview

As a Mobile Forklift Mechanic you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and repair work directly at customer sites. This role involves diagnosing faults carrying out preventative maintenance and ensuring forklifts and material-handling equipment are operating safely and efficiently.

This position suits a hands-on solutions-driven technician who enjoys independent field work takes pride in their work and values strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose service and repair forklifts and plant equipment
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems efficiently
• Maintain accurate service records and complete all job documentation on time
• Liaise with service coordinators and managers to ensure smooth job scheduling
• Uphold strict safety and compliance standards at all times
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients on-site

• Recognised trade qualification in Forklift Mechanics Construction Plant Fitting or Agricultural Mechanics (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical repair of forklifts plant or agricultural machinery
• Good understanding of hydraulic mechanical and electrical systems
• Computer literacy for service documentation and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across service routes
