The Wexford site is a key contributor to Sulzers global pumping portfolio with a strong focus on product development and engineering support for pumps and associated mechanical equipment. The team works closely with international stakeholders supporting the design and development of products supplied to customers across global markets
About the Role & Opportunity

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Technician to join our Product Development team in Wexford. This role plays an important part in supporting the design and development of engineered pump solutions and related equipment working closely with experienced Project Managers.

You will be involved throughout the design lifecycle contributing to products that are used worldwide in processcritical environments. This is a developmentfocused role within a structured engineering organisation offering longterm technical growth and progression opportunities.

Key Duties
  • Create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for pumps and associated mechanical equipment

  • Produce detailed manufacturing drawings assemblies and bills of materials

  • Support engineering change requests design updates and product improvements

  • Collaborate with engineering manufacturing testing and quality teams

  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards procedures and documentation requirements

What Were Looking For
  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Design or a related discipline

  • Experience creating engineering drawings and CAD models within a mechanical or manufacturing environment

  • Understanding of mechanical assemblies components and technical documentation

  • A structured detailorientated approach with good communication skills

  • Motivation to learn develop and build a longterm career within engineering
