Job Summary

The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting production by ensuring raw materials components and finished goods are safely received stored prepared and delivered throughout the manufacturing process. The role involves material handling inventory support basic preparation work and maintaining an organised and efficient workshop environment to support production operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive unload inspect and store raw materials and supplies in designated storage locations.
• Pull stage and deliver materials and components to production workstations in accordance with job requirements.
• Maintain accurate material identification labelling and stock rotation practices.
• Assist with inventory counts and report material shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Cut and prepare plastic materials to specified dimensions using basic workshop equipment where required.
• Support production teams by performing basic preparation tasks including deburring sanding and material preparation.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean organised and safe work environment while adhering to all company health and safety procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse logistics or material handling environment preferred.
• Experience operating hand and power tools is desirable.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.
• Ability to perform manual handling duties safely.
• Forklift licence.
