Description:
We are hiring for our client a successful FMCG production business based in Citywest Dublin who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team.

This Maintenance Technician job will suit a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment helping to minimise downtime improve reliability and keep operations running efficiently.

The Role:

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and/or electrical faults
Support machine changeovers breakdown response and equipment improvements
Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site health and safety procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering function

The Person:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in FMCG food packaging manufacturing or a similar production environment

Relevant engineering qualification or time-served maintenance background desirable
Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
Comfortable working an early/late Monday to Friday shift pattern
