Line Operator Summer Season

Abbott is a global healthcare company creating lifechanging technologies used by people around the world. Our Abbott Diabetes Care site in Kilkenny is a modern manufacturing facility producingFreeStyleglucose test strips and sensors.

As a ManufacturingLineOperator you will work on the production floor in a regulated processdriven environment supporting daily manufacturing schedules while following strict quality and safety standards.

This role is a fixed term summer position with final working dates as 31st of August 2026.

This role suits someone who is:

• Comfortable with handson routine production work

• Reliable detailfocusedand safetyconscious

• Happy working to defined procedures and schedules

• Operate production and/or test equipment

• Follow GMP safety rules and standard operating procedures

• Meet daily production targets with guidance from yourSupervisor

• Record production data accurately using approved systems

• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues asrequired

• Support training of new team members when needed

• Contribute to continuous improvement activities

• Manufacturing or production experience is an advantage but not essential

• Good communicationand teamwork skills

• Basic computer skills

• A positive flexible attitude and strong attention to detail

• Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments (e.g. medical device pharma food automotive) is beneficial.
