Laboratory Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW 

• Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
• Job Type: 6 month FTC
• Location: Dublin
• Hours: 40 per week
• Salary:  38000 - 42000
• Industry: Oil Gas & Chemical

• Perform analytical testing using approved laboratory methods and procedures.
• Prepare handle and analyse customer samples accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 17025 and SGS Quality Management Systems.
• Record review and report analytical data accurately.
• Participate in laboratory quality control verification and validation activities.
• Assist with internal and external laboratory audits.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained calibrated and fit for purpose.
• Follow all Health Safety and Environmental procedures and participate in risk assessments.
• Report incidents non-conformances and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and work effectively as part of the laboratory team.

Qualifications :

You will also have the following...

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in an analytical laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 or equivalent quality systems is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and IT skills.
