Essential Requirements
  • EU or UK passport or existing right to work in Ireland
  • Trade qualified Vehicle Mechanic
  • Minimum 10 years experience working with Kia or Hyundai vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
About the Company
Our client is a leading approved Kia agent located on the in Co Kildare. They offer a wide range of new and used cars and commercial vehicles along with a fully equipped service centre and parts department. You will be joining an established reputable and busy workshop environment.
Job Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanic with Kia or Hyundai expertise. You will take on complex diagnostic and repair work uphold manufacturer standards and play a key role in maintaining a high performing service department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Kia and Hyundai vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections in line with manufacturer specifications
  • Use Kia and Hyundai diagnostic tools software and service bulletins for troubleshooting
  • Complete all repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Document work performed including test results and parts used
  • Stay up to date with factory training and ongoing certifications
  • Mentor and support entry level and apprentice technicians
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair needs and timelines
  • Maintain a clean safe and organised workspace
