Junior Project Engineer Assistant PM
Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager:
This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated enthusiastic and driven individual looking to accelerate their career in project management. Based in either Dublin or Castlebar you will contribute to some of Europes most exciting and innovative projects while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Working alongside some of the industrys leading project professionals you will develop valuable skills broaden your expertise and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Project Manager and Project Director:
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning execution and monitoring of project activities.
- Coordinate project schedules resources and information.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements scope and objectives.
- Maintain risk and issue logs and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures
- Liaise with contractors designers and statutory stakeholders to keep projects moving
- Support procurement and contract administration activities
- Ensure projects comply with relevant health safety quality and environmental requirements
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Budget Management.
- Document Control.
- Team Coordination.
- Reporting and Communication.
- ERP to support project controls and reporting.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Project Management Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role ideally in the Rail industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and specifically MS Project
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience with ERP (Oracle) is desirable and will be a strong advantage
- Primavera 6 knowledge is also highly desirable
