Our Legal department is seeking an experienced Compliance Investigator to join our dynamic collaborative global investigations team. This role is based in our Cork office and is critical to promoting fairness compliance and integrity across NetApps global operations.

As a Compliance Investigator you will:

  • Lead end-to-end compliance investigations into complex matters including bribery kickbacks corruption antitrust and rules of engagement issues conflicts of interest misuse of confidential information financial and accounting misconduct third-party misconduct and other potential policy violations.
  • Develop thoughtful and effective strategies for handling sensitive allegations while maintaining neutrality confidentiality and adherence to applicable laws and company policies.
  • Deliver clear actionable findings through fact-based reports and recommendations that can withstand legal scrutiny address root causes and support long-term organizational health.
  • Manage multiple investigations simultaneously while advancing matters efficiently and bringing them to timely closure.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR Legal and other stakeholders to support consistent fair and well-documented outcomes.

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of skills experience and personal qualities to this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Investigation Expertise:At least 8 years of experience conducting prompt thorough and fair global compliance investigations preferably within a private or publicly traded company.
  • Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with email search tools Salesforce online research and case management systems; experience with NAVEX EthicsPoint is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills:Ability to collect analyze and reconcile financial expense and sales-related data effectively.
  • Professional Qualities:Strong professional judgment emotional intelligence cultural awareness and the ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Communication Excellence: Proven ability to present findings clearly through fact-based conclusions and recommendations that promote organizational health long-term solutions and root-cause remediation.

Education and Certifications

  • A Juris Doctorate or international equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is preferred but not required.
