Inventory Control Group Leader (Weekend day shift FSS)

• This role requires a good working knowledge of all processes of Materials and Inventory Control and will work in a leadership role supporting the Inventory Control Supervisor.

• This role requires the ability to lead the daily operations as defined inthe inventorycontrol procedures.

• This role is dedicated tosupportthe Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday)

• To supervise Evening Shift to ensure all site Safety Security Quality Productivity and Waste managementobjectives policies and procedures are met.

• Participatesatdaily meetings and ensures detailed communication across shifts priorities ongoing issues and any potential request for support.

• Assistin monitoring performance of theMaterial Handling Evening Shiftand assurance achieve thisutilizeexisting procedures or offer suggestions/ideas to develop and implement revisions or new procedures asdeemednecessary.

• Leads and motivates a team of people to succeed byutilizingappropriate interpersonalstyles including leading by example settingobjectives defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction.

• Highlight performance and training issues asappropriate tomaximizeperformance of all employees while ensuring cross training and flexibility of staff to support these changes in productionprioritiesespecially during peak periods.

• Maintain timekeeping and records on TMSin a timely mannerfor payroll purposes.

• Assistin drive forshortestprocessing time possible on all received material and continually improve the processing time performance.

• Assure that all tools equipment and visual aids necessary for efficient andaccuratecompletion of pertinent tasks are in proper working order and of the latest revision.

• Provide frequent andaccuratefeedback to the Inventory ControlSupervisorandMaterials Managertoassistwith problem solving associated with schedules equipment documentation.

• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

• Interface with allLine Leads and Lead Prod Operatorssupport functions engineering program management and other pertinent functions within theSite operations.

• Ensures accuracy of record keeping of documentspertaining toshippingreceivingandmaterials.

• Verifyingagingof material in receiving & shipping locations and ensure accuracy of these materials.

• Ensure that the production line receives the correct parts for manufacturing.

• Ensure all material is stocked promptly and accurately.

• Supports continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities asrequired.

• Implements and sustain 5S activities and standards.

• Eliminateerrors that canimpactperformance against qualitybudgetand efficiency of department.

• Identifyperformance issues and strengths for team members toInventoryControlSupervisor.

• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed byInventory Control Supervisor.

• Responsible formonitoringall material transactions for assigned area.

• Assistwith cycle count / P.I asrequired.

• Lead by example ensuring safe work practices are alwaysmaintainedin line with company policies.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential criteria

• MinimumLeaving Certificate or equivalent isrequired. May substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirements.

• Previousexperience in Inventory Control / Supply Chain.

• 2-3 years in a supervisory / people management role.

• Good understanding of company processes and procedures

• Good PC skillsisessential.

• Proficiencyin the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers customers and third parties.

• Intermediate Excel skillsisrequired.

• Minimum12monthsJabil experience isrequiredfor internal applicants.

Desired criteria

• Experience inelectronicmanufacturing environment is highly desirable.

• Experience in leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities in a manufacturing environment isadvantageous.
