Working hours/rota: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday from 9 to 5:30 pm with a 60-minute unpaid break

Job role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to step into a strategic HR Business Partner role within a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are seeking a commercially minded HR leader with strong employee relations talent management and stakeholder engagement experience who can partner with senior leaders to drive organisational performance lead people initiatives and support business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering HR solutions managing complex employee relations matters coaching managers and using data-driven insights to influence decision-making while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Healthcare Alignment:

  • Partner with business leaders to optimise workforce structures.

  • Align HR strategies with healthcare regulatory and operational goals.

  • Analyse workforce metrics and translate into actionable business insights.

  • Lead organisational change initiatives across clinics and departments.

  • Collaborate with Group HR on the development and implementation of HR Projects in Ireland and at Group level.

Advanced Talent and Employee Relations Management:

  • Guide leadership on performance management and proactive succession planning.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify learning and development requirements based on current and future organisational requirements.

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies utilising direct sourcing channels and managing vendor partnerships.

  • Resolve complex employee relations issues safely and objectively.

  • Ensure compliance with employment law and champion core organisational values.

HR Operations

  • Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver an exceptional end-to-end employee experience.

  • Oversee the execution of onboarding benefits employee engagement wellness programs and offboarding.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to oversee the monthly payroll process ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.

  • Responsible for overseeing the accuracy of the roster management system management by ensuring shift types and leave entitlements are correct in line with contractual agreements and company policy.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Business or a related field

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent postgraduate HR qualification)

  • 8 years of progressive HR experience including a minimum of 3 years in a senior HR Business Partner or equivalent strategic HR leadership role.

  • Team Leadership: proven track record of directly managing developing and performance-managing an HR team with at least 2 years of direct line management experience.

  • Coaching skills: developing employee capabilities and guiding managers.

  • Influencing and challenging: driving change without direct authority.

  • Stakeholder management: building trust across all business levels.

  • Senior leadership engagement: demonstrated experience advising and presenting to Senior Leadership Teams or equivalent translating HR strategy into business outcomes.

  • Conflict resolution: mediating disputes and handling employee relations.

  • Negotiation: balancing business needs with employee interests.

  • Problem-solving: applying sound judgment to complex workplace issues.

  • Prioritisation: juggling multiple urgent tasks under pressure.

  • HR Operations: managing employee lifecycles payroll and compliance.

  • Data Analysis: ability to generate metrics for HR reporting and to translate HR data into actionable business insights.
