Job Summary
ID Recruitment are working with a large family owned car dealership business in Ballinrobe Mayo to recruit a HR and Payroll Administrator to join their busy team.
The role is for a highly organised professional and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong administration payroll and people management support experience.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day HR and payroll functions across the business ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining excellent HR administration standards and employee support.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality accuracy initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines
- Maintain payroll records including starters leavers overtime holiday pay pensions deductions and statutory payments
- Ensure compliance with Revenue requirements payroll legislation and company procedures
- Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly
- Maintain employee records and HR systems ensuring GDPR compliance
- Support recruitment onboarding inductions and training administration
- Assist with probation reviews annual leave absences and HR reporting
- Support disciplinary grievance and performance management administration processes
- Provide general administration support to management and departments
- Minimum 12 years experience in a HR and/or Payroll Administration role
- Payroll processing experience essential
- Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation and payroll procedures
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Skills:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a management role Experience in multi-franchise dealerships is a strong advantage Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers team members and brand partners Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions In-depth understanding of the automotive industry including vehicle sales processes and trends Knowledge of financing and insurance products is advantageous. Full clean driving license.
Required Education:
Relevant qualifications in business sales or a related field are desirable but not essential
