About the role
The Entertainment Department would like to add to their pool of hospitality staff to work as hosts on The Late Late Show this coming season. This opportunity offers an exciting glimpse into the behind the scenes of a studio 4 show not normally seen.
About you
Typical working pattern is approx. 6 hours on a Friday evening once or twice a month paid 14.65 gross per hour as and when offered.

About the role

- The Hospitality Host is the initial point of contact between an audience member and the production team on the day of filming. They are expected to be warm helpful and aware of both the production and the audience members needs during the RX process.
- The Hospitality Host sets up the audience reception area.
- The Hospitality Host assists the Audience Coordinator with the final seating plan and when the audience arrives at 8pm assists with distribution of tickets.
- When the audience arrives the Hospitality Hostserves drinks.
- The Hospitality Host assists the audience going into Studio.
- During the live transmission the Hospitality Hosts are required to tidy the audience reception area arrange the audience prizes for collection after the show and during the commercial breaks ensure that the audience have vacated the toilets before the next part of the show begins.
- After Live Transmission the Hospitality Hosts distribute the audience prizes to the audience as they leave RTÉ.
About you
- Anyone from across the company in any department is welcome to put their name forward.
- Applicants would ideally have an understanding of the TV programme production process and good verbal communication skills.
