Role Overview
As Hire Supervisor you will have full oversight of daily hire operations managing people plant and processes. Youll drive sales growth develop new business relationships and ensure your team delivers outstanding service to an established customer base. This is a leadership role with real autonomy and the support of a major national group behind you.

What Youll Be Doing
Managing all aspects of the hire departments daily operations
Overseeing maintenance and servicing of plant electrical and engine-run tools
Leading training and developing your hire team
Building and nurturing strong customer relationships to drive sales
Implementing and overseeing health & safety compliance across the department
Conducting regular stock checks and taking responsibility for all department assets
Working with senior management on strategic planning and business development
Maintaining accurate records on the hire computer system
Providing expert customer demonstrations on the safe use of plant and equipment
What Were Looking For
Substantial experience in the hire industry ideally in a supervisory or senior operative role
Strong people management and team leadership skills
A solid understanding of plant tool and equipment maintenance
Commercial awareness and the ability to drive sales and new business
Health & Safety awareness and a commitment to safe working practices
Excellent organisational and communication skills
