As Hire Fitter youll work closely with the Hire Department Manager to ensure the fleet is maintained to the highest standard and customers receive exceptional service. Youll bring technical expertise attention to detail and a professional approach to every job making you an essential part of the hire team in Sligo.

Small Plant Maintenance & Service:

Cement Mixers Concrete Power Floats Plate Compactors Poker Vibrators

Electrical & Engine Tools:

Angle Grinders Circular Saws Hammer Drills Breakers Sanders

Honda 4-stroke petrol small diesel engines Makita/Husqvarna 2-stroke petrol

Additional responsibilities include:

PAT testing and fleet readiness checks

Workshop upkeep maintaining a clean safe and efficient environment

Assisting customers with sales queries and providing equipment demonstrations

Supporting day-to-day hire department operations

Adhering to all health & safety policies and procedures

What Were Looking For

Experience in the plant and tool hire industry

Solid mechanical/fitter ability across plant tools and small engines

A proactive safety-first attitude

Good customer-facing skills and a willingness to go the extra mile
