Job Summary
Transway are recruiting an experienced trailer fitters for the build repair and maintenance of commercial trailersworking to technical drawings and a high standard of quality and safety.
KEY DUTIES
- Fitting assembly repair and maintenance of commercial trailers.
- Work on suspension axles braking systems lighting and bodywork.
- Reading and working from technical drawings and diagrams.
- Welding and fabrication as required to complete fitting tasks.
- Inspection and testing of completed work for quality and safety.
- Compliance with all workshop and site H&S procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven trailer fitting / commercial vehicle build experience.
- Mechanical aptitude; welding/fabrication ability an advantage.
- Ability to work from drawings and to specification.
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Right-to-work or permit-eligible; Sama manages permit and mobilisation for overseas hires.
