The role
Kevin Burke Tyres is looking for an experienced articulated (CE) driver to join our transport team on multi-drop distribution. You will be responsible for the safe on-time delivery of stock across a regular route handling several drops per shift while representing the company professionally with every customer you meet. This is a mixed day and night role: the route involves 2 to 3 nights per week away resting overnight in the truck with the remaining shifts back to base. It suits a reliable self-managing driver who is comfortable on longer runs and takes pride in a clean well-maintained vehicle.

Hours and pattern
Full-time permanent position. Multi-drop artic work with several deliveries per shift. 2 to 3 nights per week overnight in the truck remaining nights home. Early starts as required by the route and delivery schedule. Full compliance with EU drivers hours and tachograph rules.

Salary and package
38000 per year. Modern well-maintained fleet. Permanent secure role with a long-established Irish company. Ongoing support and a straightforward driver-friendly transport office.

Key responsibilities
Carry out multi-drop deliveries safely accurately and on schedule. Load secure and check stock and manage safe unloading at each drop. Complete daily walk-around checks and report any vehicle defects promptly. Keep accurate delivery records paperwork and tachograph data. Plan and manage your route and rest breaks within drivers hours rules. Deliver a professional courteous service to every customer on the route. Keep the vehicle clean roadworthy and presentable.

What we are looking for
Full CE (category CE) licence valid and clean or near-clean. Valid Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card. Solid experience on artic and multi-drop work. Comfortable with nights out and longer-distance runs. Strong knowledge of drivers hours tachograph and load-security rules. Reliable safety-focused and able to work on your own initiative. Good spoken English and a customer-facing manner. Eligible to work in Ireland or open to work-permit sponsorship arranged through Sama Talent Group.

Desirable
Familiarity with tyre or automotive parts distribution. Experience of Irish and EU routes. Manual handling awareness.
