Our client a well-established Irish main contractor delivering high-quality housing and education projects is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead their H&S function across multiple sites in Wicklow and South Dublin
Safety is one of the companys core values with strong support from senior management and a clear commitment to maintaining high standards across all projects
This is a hands-on management role where you will lead the H&S function and Safety Advisors while also taking responsibility for Health & Safety on one of the companys active construction sites
- Lead and manage the Health & Safety function and Safety Advisors
- Act as the H&S Advisor on one active construction site
- Oversee H&S compliance across multiple projects
- Carry out site inspections audits and risk assessments
- Advise Site and Project Managers on H&S matter.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with senior management Contracts Managers and site teams
- Support the continued growth and development of the H&S team
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- 5 years experience in a construction H&S role
- Previous experience managing or mentoring H&S professionals
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and construction regulations
- Salary up to 95000 DOE
