As Head of Sales (Country Representative) for Ireland you will lead our commercial agenda in the market driving profitable growth across all Maersk products and solutions while acting as the senior country representative across functions. This is a high-impact leadership role balancing strategic direction commercial execution and organisational leadership to deliver value for customers and Maersk alike.

The Role

As Head of Sales Ireland you will own the commercial agenda end to end shaping strategy leading execution and building a high-performing sales organisation aligned with Maersks integrator ambition.

This role is not about managing transactions. Its about leading transformation: moving from siloed selling to integrated value-based solutions; from volume focus to profitable growth; and from individual performance to collective customer-centric impact.

You will act as both strategic architect and hands-on leader engaging senior customers and suppliers empowering teams and ensuring disciplined execution across markets segments and industries.

Were flexible on working location within Ireland. The successful candidate should be comfortable travelling regularly to meet customers and be able to attend our Dublin office as business needs require.

What You Will Lead

Commercial & Sales Leadership

  • Own all commercial and sales activity across Ireland delivering sustainable growth across volume and revenue. Define and execute an integrated data-led Ireland strategy strong execution discipline and clear performance governance of the commercial pipeline

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Build senior trusted customer relationships through consultative value-based selling. Use market and customer insight to shape differentiated propositions improve the customer experience and represent Maersk in complex negotiations.
  • Anticipate industry regulatory and geopolitical shifts to guide strategy and influence product and solution priorities. Build relationships with suppliers to support product development helping to enable solutions and customer value propositions

Stakeholder & Matrix Leadership

  • Partner effectively with Area Regional and Global stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation. Lead commercial transformation initiatives aligned with Maersks enterprise strategy.

People Leadership

  • Build and develop a high-performing future-ready organisation through coaching capability building and succession planning fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and inclusion.
