Job Summary

Having entered the market in 2025 with our first electric SUV the Geely EX5 were continuing to grow rapidly as we build a nationwide dealer and service network.

Job purpose:

The Head of Aftersales Ireland will lead the development implementation and ongoing management of the Geely Auto Ireland aftersales and customer ownership strategy.

As a key member of the Ireland leadership team the role will oversee retailer aftersales performance customer satisfaction ownership experience warranty operations technical support parts operations technical quality escalation and operational aftersales readiness across the Irish market.

Working closely with Ireland leadership UK and regional aftersales teams retailer partners and operational stakeholders the successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing a high-performing aftersales operation capable of delivering excellent customer experience strong retailer operational standards and long-term brand reputation within the Irish market.

This is a strategically important leadership role requiring strong operational capability technical understanding customer focus and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced startup environment.

Main responsibilities:

Aftersales Strategy & Operational Leadership

  • Lead development and implementation of Geely Auto Irelands aftersales and customer ownership strategy.

  • Establish scalable aftersales operational processes standards and governance frameworks aligned with long-term business growth.

  • Support retailer aftersales operational readiness and launch preparation activities.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with retailer aftersales leadership teams.

  • Support implementation of retailer aftersales KPIs operational standards and customer experience objectives.

Customer Satisfaction & Ownership Experience

  • Lead aftersales customer satisfaction and ownership experience performance across the Ireland network.

  • Support implementation of customer-focused aftersales processes and service standards.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction performance ownership feedback and retailer aftersales experience metrics.

  • Oversee escalation management processes relating to customer concerns technical dissatisfaction and ownership issues.

  • Support implementation of corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand reputation.

  • Work collaboratively with retailer partners and internal stakeholders to improve ownership journey performance and customer retention.

Warranty & Technical Operations

  • Oversee warranty operations technical support activities and retailer technical process compliance across the Ireland network.

  • Support effective warranty governance claim management and retailer process adherence.

  • Coordinate technical support escalation processes between Ireland retailers and UK/regional technical teams.

  • Support investigation root cause analysis and resolution of technical quality issues impacting customers or retailer operations including the market implementation of campaigns and recall activities in full compliance with applicable regulations and legislation

  • Maintain oversight of technical campaign implementation service actions and retailer technical readiness activities.

  • Work closely with product engineering and technical teams to support field quality feedback and issue resolution processes.

Technical Quality & Reputation Management

  • Monitor technical quality trends retailer feedback and customer ownership issues across the Ireland market.

  • Lead escalation management relating to significant customer technical or reputational concerns.

  • Support implementation of structured corrective actions retailer action plans and technical improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate effectively with UK regional and factory quality functions where required.

  • Maintain strong focus on brand reputation customer trust and ownership confidence during market establishment phase.

Parts Operations & Supply Support

  • Oversee Ireland aftersales parts operations and retailer parts support activities.

  • Support implementation of scalable parts supply and retailer support processes aligned with business growth requirements.

  • Own and develop the vehicle Accessories workstream

  • Work collaboratively with logistics operations and retailer stakeholders to support parts availability and operational continuity.

  • Support development of retailer parts standards operational processes and inventory governance activities.

  • Maintain oversight of retailer parts performance and operational support requirements.

Homologation and Regulatory Coordination
  • Support aftersales and technical coordination activities relating to homologation technical compliance and operational readiness requirements.

  • Coordinate with UK and regional compliance functions regarding technical updates field actions and product support activities.

  • Support retailer readiness relating to technical product updates compliance actions and service campaigns where required.

  • Maintain awareness of relevant Irish and EU automotive operational and technical compliance requirements impacting aftersales activities.

Retailer Performance & Network Support

  • Support implementation and monitoring of retailer aftersales operational standards and performance KPIs.

  • Conduct retailer aftersales reviews operational discussions and improvement planning activities where appropriate.

  • Support retailer capability development and operational improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate effectively with Network Development and Sales teams to support overall retailer performance and operational readiness.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead support and develop the Ireland Aftersales team.

  • Foster a collaborative customer-focused and solutions-oriented team culture.

  • Work closely with Sales Marketing Operations Logistics and Finance teams to support wider Ireland business objectives.

  • Coordinate effectively with UK and regional aftersales and technical functions to support operational alignment and knowledge sharing.

  • Support wider Ireland launch preparation and business development activities where required.

Education Skills and Personal characteristics required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.

  • Significant experience within automotive aftersales technical operations or customer service leadership environments.

  • Strong understanding of automotive retailer aftersales operations warranty processes and technical support functions.

  • Experience leading customer satisfaction technical quality or ownership experience initiatives advantageous.

  • Experience managing retailer aftersales performance and operational standards beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of automotive technical escalation field quality and corrective action processes.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional operational and technical activities.

  • Existing relationships within the Irish automotive sector advantageous.

  • Comfortable operating within startup and growth-phase business environments.

  • Strong operational and leadership capability.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Strong technical awareness and problem-solving capability.

  • Commercially aware with strong operational judgement.

  • Ability to manage multiple operational and technical priorities simultaneously.
