Overview

We are currently seeking a Graduate Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our Stakeholder Engagement Team to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from inception through to construction.

As a Graduate Stakeholder Engagement Consultant you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with relevant project stakeholders including landowners members of the public community groups businesses and elected representatives. You will support the delivery of all project communications including preparation of key project messages website and social media content as well as letters brochures leaflets and display material for public information events. Your mission will be to develop and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders to: build trust ensure transparent communication and support inclusive engagement throughout each phase of the project.

This exciting role will provide you with the opportunity to work within multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects across a broad range of sectors including; Energy Rail Active Travel Highways and Water. We are looking for confident individuals with excellent communication skills who can articulate complex information to a wide range of stakeholders in a manner which is clear and easy to understand. Knowledge of the various statutory planning processes in Ireland e.g. Compulsory Purchase Orders Railway Orders Part 8 etc. will also be advantageous.

Your role

  • Assist in developing and delivering clear engaging project communication plans that build awareness strengthen understanding and encourage proactive participation from all stakeholders.
  • Identify and engage with a range of project stakeholders includinglandowners members of the public community groups businesses and elected representatives to provide project updates and address any queries or issues.
  • Supportthe development and delivery of project communications including letters brochures leaflets display material digital content newsletters and press releases.
  • Coordinate public information events to share project updates with members of the public and other key stakeholders.
  • Respond to project queries from stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and feedback received.
  • Undertake desktop research of land and property affected by infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure stakeholder needs are fully understood accurately reflected in project decisions and communicated clearly throughout the engagement process.

About you

  • Degree educated in a land or planning related discipline e.g. Geography Planning Environmental Management or Estate / Property Management.
  • Excellentcommunication skillsparticularly inface-to-facemeetings as well aswrittencontentsuch asletters emails and communicationmaterial.
  • Experience working on infrastructureprojectswill beadvantageous.
  • Flexibility in approach to managing workloadwith the ability tomulti-task and prioritise when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detailparticularly in preparing communication materials.
  • A confident individual with a positive outlook and an approachablefriendlymanner.
  • The ability to work effectively within a large team or to work aloneasrequired.
  • A highly motivated individual who will contribute to the growth of the Stakeholder Engagement Team.
