Job Summary
Vertiv in Letterkenny Ireland is dedicated to the design build and distribution of Modular Datacentre modules. We are complemented by our factories in Burnfoot and Derry who supply switchgear/busbar directly.
We manufacture complete distribution systems including MV and LV switchgear busbar trunking energy management systems and modular power solutions. All manufacturing processes are carried out in-house including sheet metal fabrication paintwork punching pressing and bending copper & aluminium.
Investment in a state-of-the-art tin-plating and silver-plating plant has taken Vertivs engineering offering to the next level and we are excited to be hiring a newly qualified graduate electrical engineer to kick start their career at Vertiv!
Join a brilliant close-knit team and design and develop prefabricated power and datacenter infrastructure solutions focusing on electrical distribution systems includinglighting containment controls fire alarm and security systems. Collaborate with other disciplines (structural mechanical) to ensure integration and compliance with standards.
The role
- Develop Electrical manufacturing documentationi.e. drawings schematics equipment schedules.
- Develop equipment schedules to include quantities
- Update and manage 3D models and drawings
- Provide support for integration of electrical fire security and controls systems.
- Provide support for testing commissioning and site integration.
- Participate in project coordination and factory acceptance test
About you
- BEng (Hons)or Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in Windows MS Office AutoCAD
- Strong English communication skills.
- Teamwork problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Travel required: 5%
