Job Summary
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care including history taking physical examinations ordering diagnostic investigations coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and arranging appropriate follow-up.
- Complete inpatient admission documentation including drug Kardex and hospital admission notes ensuring accurate and timely clinical records while minimizing duplication.
- Assess review and document patient progress as requested by Consultants or nursing staff and assist with patient admissions during periods of high service demand when required.
- Provide clinical support for procedures across hospital departments and prescribe medications in accordance with Consultant direction and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate closely with General Internal Medicine (GIM) Consultants promptly communicating any significant clinical concerns to ensure safe and effective patient management.
- Participate in the NCHD on-call rota respond to medical emergencies contribute to Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) meetings and support quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork with medical nursing and allied healthcare professionals to promote high standards of patient care.
- Support the education and supervision of medical students Physician Associate students junior colleagues and nursing staff through teaching and clinical guidance.
- Perform associated administrative duties including issuing medical certificates maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to hospital policies infection prevention measures and clinical governance standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times by delivering patient-centred care complying with health and safety regulations implementing quality standards and undertaking additional duties as reasonably assigned.
- Hold a recognised Medical Degree with current full registration with the Medical Council and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
- Demonstrate strong clinical expertise in patient assessment diagnosis treatment and overall medical management relevant to the role.
- Possess excellent leadership supervisory communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in the English language.
- Be adaptable to a dynamic healthcare environment capable of exercising sound clinical judgement responsibility and initiative.
- Be a motivated detail-oriented team player with strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Skills:
