Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team and take responsibility for financial planning and analysis across a significant capital investment programme.

This is a senior business-facing finance role with responsibility for providing clear financial insight across a large and complex programme of work. The successful candidate will work closely with programme leaders delivery teams and senior stakeholders while also leading and developing a small FP&A team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead FP&A across the capital investment programme covering budgeting forecasting monthly reporting target setting and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide clear analysis of investment performance identifying key movements in spend delivery risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with programme owners and senior stakeholders to support planning prioritisation and financial decision-making across the investment programme.
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team while improving financial models reporting processes controls and the overall quality of financial analysis.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) with 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong experience across FP&A commercial finance or finance supporting large capital programmes.
  • Previous experience managing or leading others within an FP&A business partnering or programme finance environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the confidence to present financial information and challenge senior stakeholders.
Experience working with large-scale capital investment programmes infrastructure utilities or regulated environments would be particularly beneficial.
