Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support project delivery on-site in Ballydine Tipperary. The role is suited to a degree-qualified engineer or an experienced technician with a strong background in construction or engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt distribution and control of drawings and technical documentation required for project execution
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with issued drawings specifications and technical information
- Support the preparation and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Coordinate and participate in field walks with project stakeholders
- Assist with snagging activities ensuring defects are identified recorded and closed out in a timely manner
- Support the handover process including preparation of documentation and verification of completed works
- Liaise with site teams subcontractors and project management to ensure smooth workflow and communication
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related discipline) OR
Significant relevant experience as a technician in a similar field-based role - Strong understanding of construction/engineering documentation and processes
- Experience with ITPs snagging and project handovers is desirable
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems
Desirable
- Previous experience in a regulated or industrial environment (e.g. pharma manufacturing)
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and site inspections
