As a Veterinary Surgeon you will:
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients.
- Diagnose investigate and manage a wide variety of medical and surgical cases.
- Take full responsibility for patient care ensuring excellent case continuity.
- Perform consultations routine surgeries and medical case work-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Prescribe and dispense medications appropriately while supporting stock management.
- Communicate clearly with clients discussing treatment plans and providing estimates.
- Promote preventative healthcare and pet wellness plans.
- Work closely with the veterinary and nursing team to provide outstanding patient care.
- Support colleagues through knowledge sharing and clinical guidance.
- Ensure accurate billing and maintain high clinical standards.
We are looking for someone who has:
- MVB DVM or an equivalent Veterinary Degree.
- Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
- At least 3 years experience in small animal practice.
- Confidence in consultations routine surgery and case management.
- A particular interest in surgery would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous professional development.
