The Vet Office is recruiting an Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern recently refurbished practice in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly experienced multi-vet team with interests in internal medicine and dermatology offering a supportive environment where clinical development is encouraged.

The Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon you will:
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients.
- Diagnose investigate and manage a wide variety of medical and surgical cases.
- Take full responsibility for patient care ensuring excellent case continuity.
- Perform routine surgeries and consultations with confidence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Prescribe and dispense medications appropriately while supporting stock management.
- Communicate clearly with clients discussing treatment options and providing estimates.
- Promote preventative healthcare and pet wellness plans.
- Work closely with an experienced veterinary and nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Support and contribute to the continuous learning and development of colleagues.
- Ensure accurate billing and uphold the highest clinical standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- MVB DVM or an equivalent Veterinary Degree.
- Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
- At least 1 year of experience in small animal practice.
- Confidence in consultations routine surgery and medical case management.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing clinically.
- The ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
