Job Summary
A well-established waste and recycling operation is growing its EHS function and has an opening for an Environmental Consultant. This is a permanent ground-level role suited to someone early in their EHS career who is keen to build practical experience in a busy hands-on environment.
The incoming person will be supported through onboarding by an experienced manager and will become a core part of a small stable team. The environment is industrial candidates must be comfortable working in a working waste facility.
What the role involves
- Environmental monitoring reporting and regulatory compliance across a multi-site operation
- Supporting the senior EHS team with day-to-day environmental management activities
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on environmental matters
- Site visits across Dublin and surrounding locations as required
- Contributing to continuous improvement of environmental performance
What you bring
- A relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Science EHS or a related discipline
- Work placement or up to two years professional experience in an EHS or environmental role
- A practical can-do attitude willing to get involved and learn on the job
- Good communication skills comfortable engaging directly with site teams and management
- Genuine interest in the waste and recycling sector
